Events At BYC

BYC is an active and popular yacht club in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. 

We offer a variety of weekly, monthly and seasonal events.  We also offer catering services and room rentals for you own private events.

The BYC facilities primarily consist of a well-maintained two story building.

The first floor consists of the “Regatta Room”, which is a large meeting/dining area with a full bar area and outside deck for member events. This first floor area and deck are perfect if you need a special venue for a wedding reception or other special occasions.

Upstairs is the “Norton Lounge” bar, dancing and dining area, also accompanied by front and back vista decks. Both levels have beautiful views of the Benicia Marina, Carquinez Strait and Mt. Diablo.

10:00am: Vendor booths and kids’ activities open for business.  The Benicia Fire Department will have equipment on display as well. 
11:30am: Welcome by BYC Vice Commodore Natalie Boltz Keller, Flag Raising Ceremony & National Anthem, Guest speaker: Lionel Largaespada, Council Member
12:00pm: BYC restaurant open for lunch
1:30pm: Blessing of the Fleet, decorated Boat parade (Prizes for first, second and third place decorated boat)
2:00pm: Lunch service ends, Live music on the back deck featuring Paper Kayaks
4:00pm: Vendor Booths close
5:00pm: BYC restaurant open for dinner
7:00pm: Dinner service ends , live music upstairs in the Norton Lounge featuring dancing with Salvage Title
10:00pm: Opening Day Festivities conclude
